happened to be the popular "chalk" space that day.
And the kids from across the street began to come on over. Chloe was super
interested in the chalk. She had just gotten out of her surgery a couple
days earlier and was ready to be outside. We put some old sweats on her
and she crawled around until there was a hole in her knee that had the cast
on it. At one point, she played with the blue little chalk egg for about
30 minutes as she went up and down the driveway, pushing the egg up and
throwing it down the driveway. I think she would still be doing it if I
hadn't pulled her in for dinner... Chloe
